Winter Snow and SNU

Well I thought I was full of turkey and was going to do a ham or Cornish game hens for Thanksgiving but I broke down afraid I would not have that famous left over sandwich and turkey hash I bought a "Butterball" turkey and all the fixings.
.
We have SNOW, and COLD, it is kind of pretty looking out our window.
.
Lot of Flights delayed  on the East Coast due to this old Nor-easter hanging in.

.

.
We have only gotten about 4 inches but its still snowing, tonight is supposed to dump more snow on us but will wait andf see.
.

.
It is kind of pretty looking outside at the snow covered trees and this is what we see out our window. It is almost winter up here.
.

.
The above site is Bassett-Baxter, American Legion Post 789, these flags fly over Graves of War Veterans who had no income, some had no family and I attended several internments of some friends we buried there, each site has a flat head stone except for 2 early graves, I have gone there or drove thru there a lot and always say a Prayer for these "Veterans" !.
.

.
Last night, (Tues) we played at the Skilled Nursing unit at Carthage Hospital, the area we play in is the Community and Dining room, next door is the room of Millie, Millie celebrated her 105 Birthday 2 weeks ago, she was alert and sang along and we found out last night she was on her death bed in a Coma, we played and a family member came over and asked us to play "Amazing Grace" and we did, when we left we checked and found Millie was still with us.
.

.
Don't forget to give "Thanks" for our Veterans!

Dat's scary to us southern folk. We love to see pictures, but if we get 3-4 inches the stores sell out of bread and milk. haahahaha We think it wills tay forever and we will die of starvation. LOL
Glad you got to sing for the folk. A wonderful person like Millie is so sweet. Glad she was still amongst the living when you left.
Have a great Thanksgiving.
