What beautiful weather we are having up here in the "North Country", is was 72, sunny and no breeze, my daughter Sabrina and her Husband Ed went swimming in the Black River yesterday.
.
.
I sat down and weeded and cut back the Glads, thinned the Hen's and Chickens, potted some coleus and hens and chickens for a lady upstairs and disturbed a bed of "wolly bears" !
.
.
The "wolly-bears" say it is going to be a long snowy winter by the amount of brown and black on them.
.
.
The hanging baskets are still growing and blooming .
.
.Our ground plants are still in bloom and surviving, we have not had any killing frosts yet!
.
.
We played for the Skilled Nursing Unit at Carthage Area Hospital and the residents enjoyed the music, Millie turned 105 years old, Richard, Paul and Fred enjoyed the music, David sang along and the ladies did some toe tapping and clapping, what a pleasure it is to be able to do this for the residents.

Well another beautiful day, sunny, over 70 degrees, shorts and t shirts and a beautiful day to spend outside. It is archery season but deer are no where to be found.
.
.
.
We went down to the Black River and walked the park to enjoy some quality time togeather.
.
.
We re parked the Camper and set it on boards and tilted it for winter storage, will set it up once more to put moth balls inside to keep the mice out.
.
.
I have never seen so many acorns as I have this fall, the trees are loaded with them, so many the squirrels and chipmunks pass them by, squirrels look really fat.
.
.
We went to JHRECK Subs today and got a sub and went down to the Village Park and had a little picnic.
.
.
We drove around and noticed there are lots of apples, we found this tree right beside the road, normally the apples are small and tart, these were large, bright red, and sweet.
.
.
The trees in our yard are turning and going bare.
.
