Lots of Snow

We sure have been getting hammered with snow, hard to believe that Saturday we were walking around in T Shirts and Shorts and 65 degree weather but that all changed.
.
.
We went from sitting outside to going inside and watching it snow.   We went to bed with nothing, and about 3 AM it started Snowing !
.
.
We were on CBS NEWS this morning.  The first major snow storm of the season is sweeping through the Northeast. Dangerous conditions overnight sent drivers sliding off roads in New York state. Parts of the Northeast could see nearly 20 inches of snow by Tuesday morning. Tony Dokoupil reports from Watertown, New York.
.
.
We got pounded with snow and wind.
.
.
Looking out the back window towards our gardens, it really came down, Redfield New York got 40 inches of Snow, it is about an hour from us and higher elevation.  We got a lot of snow, about 2 feet so far.
.
.
The Garbage Can outside has about 2 feet of snow on it so far.
.

 .
This year they are using a contractor with a large blower to clear the road and pavement areas tocut down of tearing up the lawns.
.
.
We had a female Cardinal come in  to feed at the neighbors feeder along with a Junco during the morning.
.
.
We had the Male Cardinal come to our feeder during thr snow storm and they came in and fed and left, didn't see them the rest of the day.
.

.
This the snow drifts which blow down from the eves of the roof, and behind this pile and  drift is an apartment and it makes looking our difficult so Snow Rakes are used to clean the roofs of overhangs.
.
.
This is the door we usually go in and as you can see it is "Snowed In" !  It was cleared out in the afternoon !
.
.
In front of apartment there is almost no snow but back there is about 4 feet drifted in and the wind is out of the West coming in from the Great Lakes.
.
.
I went outside but not for too long as it is hard to breathe with this COPD so I sometimes have to wear a breathing mask. The wind died down and sun came out for a few minutes but didn't stay out long !!
.
.
My Honey making sure there is food in the Bird Feeders for our feathered friends. Pretty boring without them to watch.
.
.
This is common up here in the North Country for Bedtime !
.
.
Remember our Vets !

WOW us southern boys can't understand this much snow. Maybe twice in my life I have seen that much snow in either DC or Missouri. Love the pictures, but not sure I want any of it. LOL STAY warm with that sweet Anna Mae.
