The Fall Season

Well, it is Fall,  Cooler, and season has changes, makes my poor old bones and joints ache!
.
.
Some big soft maple trees have changed and are beautiful yellow, reds and oranges and pretty to look at and we are starting to get "Leaf Peepers: driving up to look and stay to see the mountain beauty,  My old friend "Ziggy" (RIP) that I miss named them "Leaf Peepers" !!
.
.
Not all the leaves have changed as there is still lots of Green Color, this is on the old railroad tracks in town !
.
.
The parks and campgrounds that are still open are pretty places for walks as it is quiet !
.
.
It does get cool enough so you need a sweatshirt, We were walking up on the Tug Hill Plateau and enjoying the day, cooler weather!
.
.
This is the large tall stump left over from a tree the park took down, We call it "Grumpy" as approaching it,  it looks like a frowning face, nose and 2 weird eyes !
.
.
Seeing lots of Mums, Pumpkins and dried out flowers now !  Soon Halloween decorations come out !
.
Don't forget all our Veterans !

We are in the NC Mountains, famous in our area for 'Leaf Peepers.' We are seeing a very few turn, but we KNOW what is coming and the beauty of it. The maple is our favorite. Love Grumpy and Anna Mae, good shot. You are looking well alsoI am sure a lot of credit goes to the pretty nurse.
