Well it's installed

We finished up the Boiler this afternoon, I am glad the Boiler is in, have a Large  Baseboard Heating unit to install down here in the Basement but have shut off's Valves installed so can work on that anytime now.  Got to figure out how to remove the Old Boiler up 10 steps and get it outside.

.

.
North East Contractor getting new Pressure Tank unboxed so can get it fitted in !
.
.
Circulating Pump above running quietly, reconfigured it to allow easier installation !
.
.
Split the Main Line to cover each end of the house so could throttle down water supply to either side almost like having it Zoned,  My Plumber is excellent !
.
.
Electric hooked up, Gas reconnected, Thermostat Tied in !    Water turned on, Gas turned on and Switch thrown and we have Pressure, Old Boiler set at 140,000 btu but this small unit is set for 180,000 btu and it didn't take long to get it right up there.
.
Well it went well until these old Base Board Units got "Air Locked" and the Bleeder Valves I found didn't allow me to open them and bleed the air off as they would break!  Scratching our heads as we were NOT going to replace these Base Board Heaters we had to think about it and find a plan ! SO we   shut the Boiler down to think !
.
.
We decided to cut into the Return Line, Put in a "Bleeder Valve" and hooked up a Washing Machine Hose to it and refired up the Boiler and waited a couple minutes.
.
.
We opened the Valve part way and Water was running clear when we opened the Bleeder and then "Bang", out came rust colored water and lots of Air Bubbles and sure enough we were breaking the Air Blockage in the Base Boards and even was cleaning out a unit somewhere that was starting to plug but no idea which one !
.
.
My Honey and our North East Contractor, Her Brother Matt !   Man is awesome !
.
.
"Got er Almost Done" but the rest that I need to do is is not that bad !
.
I am Beat and put in an Honest Days Work, Early Bed Time tonight for sure !

Good deal onthe bleeder. The air locks are definitely close to impossible without a place to bleed. I know you will tke everything possible off the old boiler to get 'er out, but I have NO DOUBT it is gonna be tough up the long narrow stairs. Paint it gray and leave it as decorations OR GET LOTS OF YOUNGER HELP!
jOB WELL DONE.
Good deal about the shutoff to allow later insulation of the new baseboard.
Love from down here
