WoW, It was cold this Morning, thankful we have 4 to 5 inches of now !!!

Our first of what I believe will be many below Zero Mornings or Days , This is a little early for this year as usually these days of below Zero come in February !

It was a cold day so My Honey went to the Kitchen and started making a Stew ! Frying Pan of Venison, pot of Small home grown potatoes, carrots and some celery and Onions cooked in Beef Stock. Let it simmer all day on low and then shortly make a dish of "Johnny Cake" or corn bread !
.
Kitchen was warm and smelled great, Temps outside were about 5 degrees. right now at 7:30PM it is -2 BELOW ZERO.

Dinner was hot, delicious Venison Stew and warm buttered Johnny Cake and a glass of Root Beer !

Later tonight it was a nice big dish of Ice Cream and Hershey's Chocolate Syrup !

MMMMMM The stew sounds delicious! Y'all got a problem, BOTH of you can cook!!!
But Imma tell you we didn't spend but 2-3 winters in the cccold (Northern Missouri) but that was enough for this southern family! You folks that live in that weather are TOUGH!!!
It is a cool 57 here, but that is ABOVE ZERO! LOL
