Fall is Fading !

Well, we have enjoyed SUMMER and also FALL, but as the leaves change colors and drop off the trees, in moves the rain,  the Swamps are dry, not a lot of standing water, hunting season coming up fast and so changes in the weather.

We have had 3 days of rain, lots of rain, rivers are high, creeks are high and the Swamps are filling up and we have our first Winter Advisory Posted on TV.

The rain has soaked into the ground but not changed this Artisan Well located on Humphrey Hill, this spring runs almost year round and the water is cold, clear and you can see where there is a pull off area in front of t to park.

With the Swamps filling up with water, wood being cut for next year, Deer Season now open for hunting our Winter is not far off.

Lake Placid is just about an hour and a half from here and they got SNOW today.

Old Forge is about an hour from us and they got it today !!   Tomorrow it is supposed to stop the raining and Snowing, we have already had Snow Plows and Sanders out tonight, our Temps right now are 36 degrees.

Hope everyone is getting settled for Winter, by Tuesday and Wednesday our overnight lows will be in the low 20's !!!!!.
