Cooler for New Tree

Well, it's cooled down finally to 75 but still muggy and dry, no rain,  I fin ally got my Christmas Tree delivered this morning !  I bought a Norway Blue Spruce, 8 feet tall not counting the root ball,  I bought it for the new house as I always wanted one so can cross this off the "Bucket List" !!
.
.
I bought the Spruce 6 weeks ago when we bought the house, have been waiting for them to plant it but it is so hot they had to wait and today was cool !
.
.
There were 3 Burly Guys who grabbed shovels and hand dug the pit for the tree,  they quickly had the hole dug,  they threw in some pieces of scrap steele in bottom of hole and then sit the tree in and squared it up !
.
.
The owner of the company is Andy who is the owner on the left kneeling , these guys are all 6 foot tall so the tree way planted and they watered with 3 to 5 gallons of water.
.
.
All Planted, between the garage and Garden Shed. Now have to water it every day with 3 to 5 gallons of water for 30 days till it roots.  The Iron in the hole is an Old Timers thing, but it says on GOOGLE that Iron Chelate helps a tree grow !
.
.
I am standing where the tree is now planted !!!!!
.
.
Mandolin is tuned, clothes packed and I am going down to New Hartford Methodist Church for a 4 day Men's retreat, It will be a great time joining other Men of God and some Pilgrims and eating, Singing and Praying and Sharing Life's adventures !!!!!
.
Don't forget, Remember our Vets !

Glad you can clear something from a bucket list. I love doing that. Never heard of the iron story. What I was sorta surprised at was a 'hand dug hole'. That is neat and very unusual now-a-days. usually it is a back hoe quick in quick out, the WHAM BAM,,,,,, thing. Have a great time at the retreat and take care not to show off too much! Love you dude (and the dude-ess)
