Better Day

Good nites Rest, up, relaxed, we are in the kitchen and what do we see outside on the deck,   Our first welcome sight of summer time:

Not a good picture of a Rose Breasted Grossbeak taken thru the screen door, but we did have several females at the feeder but waited for him to get here and sure enough he showed up !

.

So I have had my Orange slices hung up out back and a cut orange stuck on a nail hoping we would catch the Baltimore Orioles on there flight thru as they like the deeper woods up here !  Last year at West side Terrace we had 4 pairs come thru and we managed to keep a pair around with Orange slices and Grape Jelly !

Sure enough, just about Noon looked out back and there on the Orange slices was a Baltimore Oriole feeding,  didn't see the female and so I went out and put out my Grape Jelly and watched it feed.  The female is not around with him yet !

He is hungry as he came up on the deck railing to eat !  The Oranges are delicious, I tried a slice and don't know what these are but they are sure sweet !

 Boss Man Red Cardinal is still around ruling the roost and comes every morning !

We are waiting for the Hummingbirds to get here, there are 2 feeders up but no Hummers yet !

This was taken out the kitchen window of the Swallows who have came back and are fighting with the Sparrows for the Little Blue Bird Box on the Garden Shed, Not a good picture as my poor old Nikon Camera is slowly giving up the ghost !

. 

We really wish we could bring in the Evening Grossbeaks, they are a nice Bird to have around !

Feeling Better, Doctor has put me on Iron Tablets to increase Oxygen in blood and will see.   Stay Safe and Healthy everyone !
