Out an About

We decided at coffee this morning that since we didn't get out to dinner for yesterdays 31st Wedding Anniversary we were going somewhere today.  WE're GOINING ON A DATE !
.
We jumped in the Car and headed for the River, we went to Alexandria Bay where we stopped, parked and walked the streets, (with Masks) and then went for Lunch !
.
We went to Admirals Walk restaurant for lunch,   It was OK, Alex Bay is a Tourist Town, Has a Hospital, is on the River but with the Canadian Border Closed there is not as much foot traffic and it was not hard to find a parking spot even though it is the start of Labor Day weekend.
.
.
We had a Nice quiet Lunch and watched the Tourists walk around and come and go !  Notice my Honey does not have on her Glasses.
.
.
After lunch we decided we had seen all we wanted to of the Tour Boats, Traffic and Pedestrians.  Alexandria Bay is a nice place to Visit ! Click here to see it...   https://www.visitalexbay.org/
.
We left the Bay and drove down by the Saint Lawrence River which seperates Canada and the United States to another River town, Clayton.
.
.
Directly behind My Honey over her right shoulder is Canada,  Boaters are not allowed to cross over into Canada and the Canadians cannot cross over into the U.S.
.
.
Behind me is an Island which is in American Waters and the Border in on the other side of this Island, There are over a 1,000 (Thousand) Islands around here in the River. Click Here to visit... https://visit1000islands.com/
.
.
Normally where I am standing on the Clayton Public Docks these would be packed full of Canadian Boaters tied up at these slips and everyone downtown spending Money !
.
.
We had a Great Day, Enjoyed our "Date" !   Now headed home.
.
Well need to go check Jack and Sherry Blog the Ships Log to see where they are now on their return trip from going across Country !.............      http://shipslog-jack.blogspot.com/
.
BACK THE BLUE !
.
Don't forget, Remember our Vets !

Oh yeah! Sherry got here first and as I was looking at the first picture of Anna Mae I was thinking what a great shot. As I was thinking, Sherry looked over and said, "I thought that was just a perfect shot of Anna Mae."
I told her I was thinking the same thing.
Tis good to have a date, and even better to have a REASON. Congratulations to you both. YOu make a fine couple, and enjoyed the education and info.
Love from NC, where we will sty a couple days before heading for our new to us trailer in Florida.
Sherry & jack, taking a break.
