Whetstone Gulf

 Well, what does one do when it's 92 degrees and Humid,  *  PICNIC    !  We pack the car and off we went for a 40 -45 MInute Car Ride to a New York State Park !     "Whetstone Gulf State Park !  Whetstone Gulf State Park is a 2,100-acre state park located in Lewis County, New York. The park is on the edge of the Tug Hill Plateau, south of Lowville, on the border of the towns of Turin and Martinsburg. The east end of the park is located near New York State Route 26.

Car Packed and off we go !

My Honey cutting up Summer Squash, Onion, Salt Potatoes and Mushrooms to go with the Boneless Spare Ribs to be wrapped in Aluminum Foil and cooked over the fire !

Water Break, 92+ Degrees and hot and Humid but the Creek is cool !

Food is almost ready and can smell it dripping Juices onto the fire !

Pork, Onions, Squash, Salt Potatoes, Mushrooms all cooked and delicious !

Great Picnic in the Park,   Great Day, Even took a couple walks and there was a nice breeze.

It has been years, but I was raised on picnics in the summer. What great memories for me, but yours are MAKING more memories. Beautiful shots, Everyone MUST love water falls from 1 foot to hundreds. Two things I like to just watch, falls and a campfire.
BTW that squirrel did a great shot of you two at the table! ;-)
The food ALWAYS looks and sounds delicious and we are sure it WAS!
