Storm Continues

Well our "Willywaw" has continued but is starting to running out of Steam !  It appears to be slacking off which is a good thing as we need to clean up and clear out !

.

.
Our Man we contracted with for the Winter had over 200 Phone Calls from people wanting him to remove, plow or snow blow or shovel off roofs or buildings.  Glad we have a Handshake and Verbal Commitment !  Above is the front sidewalk !
.
.
My Honey touching up where he cleaned the walkway into the House.  The Sun peeked thru a few clouds !
.
.
Looking out the back the Sun is melting some of the Snow Pak and heat is escaping from the ceilings and roof which is what it has done for years in these Old Mill Houses !
.
.
Going thru 5 feet of Snow to get to the back doors of the Garage, it was rough going for Dustin who works for my Contractor.
.
.
Looking out the front window across the street showing te melting snow in the 29 degree temps ad in between snow squalls !
.
More Melting an Freezing Ice
.
Looking out Laundry Room window looking West down the street which you can see is now NOT 2 car widths wide to allow passing !
.
.
Across Street looking South our Neighbor had his cousin come up to clear him out,  He has Congestive Heart Failure and needs to be able to get out in an Emergency just like I do !
.
.
Our Neighbor trying to clear her Driveway and not having very good luck as the snow is over her augers on the Blower !  She is only about 5 foot and weighs about 100 pounds and has her hands full !
.
.
Looking East at Snow that slid off our Neighbors Roof !  Lot of Weight in that Snow and Ice !  It slid off while she was Cleaning out her Driveway !
.
.
Having been in the House several Days, the storm has slowed down, sun came out so we went for a ride aroundthe Village.   This is our Street, Wilna Avenue and is NOT 2 car widths wide.   We were notified by a Notice in the Municipal Building there will be NO Trash Pick Up Monday Morning and Village Office will be closed until Wednesday!
.
Everyone Stay Safe and warm and dry !

My goodness, THAT is a LOT of snow on the roof. Yes it is heart warming that a handshake is still a solid contract. Love it. Take CARE and neither of you push yourselves. I know you know more about it than I do, I think 18" is the most I have seen at one time in my 80+ years. As a matter of fact, that snow would probably about all we have seen in our lifetimes, including 4 winters in North Missouri.
Take care snuggle and stay warm...
Love from down here we are 51 and rain... ;-)
