Willy Waw set in !

 Well, we are in day 2 of our "Willywaw" !     We have lots of wind snow and cold !    Temps are still down till Monday and more "Lake Effect" Snow coming in !

Can Hardly see the Man across the street using his Snow Blower cleaning up the first snowfall of many to come in a steady pace !

My Honey is out bundled up cleaning out the Bird Feeders out Front during the Storm!

The Man I hired this winter to keep the driveway and sidewalk clear of Snow started to clear the walks and driveway !

My Honey out removing some Snow with the Sno Joe, runs on 2 strong batteries and does OK with a light fluffy Snow as long as it's not too deep !

This was last week when I stopped by the Village as the Crew was getting the Plow ready !

The Neighbor sent me this Picture of our House during a Break in the Weather.  A good 4 foot of Snow on the Roof !

I went out to the Garage to fill the Bird Feeders during a break in the storm !

One of my Neighbors had his wife come over and dig out the door to the Garden Shed, They ran out of Gas for the Snow Blower, I had 3 cans in there and gave them 1 !

After she got the Gas Can she dragged it back on the Snow Shovel as the Snow is up to her waist !   

.

The most recent snowfall report from the National Weather Service Buffalo confirmed that as of 7:30 a.m. on November 19, Natural Bridge has received 72 inches of snow. This was the third-highest amount of snow logged in New York State following the massive lake effect snow storm that hit the eastern Lake Ontario region.

We are still getting pretty Cardinals at the Feeders after we filled and cleaned them !

My Honey cleaned the Deck a few times to keep the 5 feet of snow we got off from it !

Our Neighbors across the street who helped us out so much by shoveling, snow blowing, and making sure us "Old Folks" were OK !!!

Next Door Neighbor standing beside the "Snow Bank" and others outside moving Snow, we are in a Break and are not supposed to get more Snow until tomorrow, (Sunday),  Church Tomorrow is Cancelled along with many others due to this storm and the projected further Snow Fall !

Storms Coming !

 Well, its the Middle of November and "Old Man Winter " is coming to the North Country !

.

. 

They have closed all local Schools and some Businesses for Friday the 18th as we are supposed to get snow possibly in the Feet,  maybe 1 to 2 !

.

.

Above Map is for our Snow Fall Totals, we are up in the top in Red near Watertown,  The Weather Channel has gone to Buffalo and New York State has called Mandatory Overtime for all Snow Plow operators and are now calling out National Guiard for several Cities !   Sure is different than when I was a kid !

An old Picture of my Dad taken in the 60's,  I remember a winter Night it was 40 BELOW Zero,  The old 6 volt Battery in the Car was brought inside to get warm as there was Ice building up in the cells and we took a coal shovel and took a small shovel full of Hot Coal out and held it under the Oil Pan on the old 1947 Plymouth Father Drove to warm up the oil so it would start !

.1.   If I could compete in one event and be remembered for it I would think Roller Skating: I could really do those twirls, skate backwards, forwards, Loved In-Line Skating and Dance Skating, I was really good in High School, we had a large roller ring upstaire in the Old Edwards Hotel that used to be a ball room, this couple, "The Bickfords" opened it up for Skating, they were both Professional Skaters.  We filled the Place every weekend it was open and all summer.

2.   If I could Pick and Be a Famous US Person  I would pick Thomas Jefferson !  I visited his House, read his History and saw some of his inventions and I would pick him !

3.   If you could spend one week in any country in the world, all expenses arranged and paid; where would you like to go? I would pick WALES !!!   My Family came from Wales to the good old USA back in the 1600's and settled.

It is "Dark, 5PM

I sit here in the living room in front of my Picture Window and look outside, we live in the Village but streetlights are few and far between,  I look out and it is "Dark",  I know this is the real time but I don't like it, I would rather have it lighter later in the day.

. This Morning it was 29 degrees and cold,  I normally get up at 8AM but as it is lighter earlier I was up at 7AM this morning !!!

We have SNOW forecast for Sunday but that could change:

Look in the center by the 36 and that's our Temp by the Red Dot and it's falling,  I took the water hoses down and drained them and put them away and shut off outside faucet.

.

Oh Well,  I still have "Covid" symptoms,  it is awful,  I have a sneaking suspicion that this is going to be the "Long Haul" they talk about.   I have issues walking and keeping my Balance and sometimes I get short of Breath,  My Honey is also suffering from this also ! 

.

We had a Great "High Noon" Luncheon on the First Wednesday of November, above are all retired "Old Timers" from the Police Department Taken in September, I missed the October Lunch.

Birthday Girl

November 1st, My Honey's Birthday,  we celebrated it quietly at home, Both still not 6 X 6 felling better from this covid !    We have been laying low !

I managed to dress and head out to the Garage and cook us Steaks for our Birthday Dinnere for my Honey !  Thankful it is up in the low 60;s for temps !
