Early Sunday Dinner

We  This morning , we woke up to rain and 40 degree temps with heavy rain and more rain !   We knew the "Storm" was coming so yesterday we went to the Butcher and got a nice big Bone In Ham !
We cut 1/2 of it off and froze it up for 2 more meals later this winter ! Nice piece of meat, very little fat and healthy smell.

I trimmed the Ham, cut 1/2 of it off and froze it for 2 meals later, This was a rather large Bon in Ham !

My Honey cleaned the carrots, peeled the Potatoes, cut the Onions, celery   and cut it up and put in the Stew Pot !

We are down to the finish line for Dinner and have everything boiling an simmering on the stove !

As everything came to a boil, I cut up that beautiful cabbage into 4 pieces and tucked it into the top of the pot and we let it cook,   House smelled like a nice Boiled Ham Dinner.

This is our reading today on 1/11/2020 a little after noon,  57 degrees and rain !!

The newest addition to the Family, "Tipper" didn't mind the Rain, curled right up in Momma's chair and went to sleep !

.

Dinner was "Delicious" !!!!      Boiled Ham Dinner ! We fixed up a nice meal and took it down to 1 of our neighbors before we ate !

Snow almost gone again, really raining out there and we are supposed to get freezing Rain nd an Ice Storm tonight, have to wait and see, at 5:15 it is just raining and now it is Dark !!
