Cancer Sucks

 Rushed to Hopsital Wednesday in Afib.  In  ICU dor 11 Hoursw and sent to room !  put on IV's and Heavy duty drugs,  Spent 7 days in ICU,  

Released today and came home,  Very tired, weak and its hard to walk.

 Lots of Cancer Drugs, also I have Afib and Pneumonia in left Lung 1

Kept blowing the IV as my Veins were weak but we got one!

UPDATE

Hello:  Still here !  Reading your Posts and comments,  I have no Visitors so they don't spread and germs.  Very careful on diet and exercise.    Exercise is limted as I have to strength at all.

This is mainly what I have, I drink 2 bottles a day,  I eat lightly and often.

.

I also get to enjoy 2 Milk Shakes, 1 afternoon and 1 at night !     "YUM""  !

I have lost over 25 pounds and am trying to stop losing anymore.  I am tired most of the time and all my joints and muscles are sore and lame and ache.

CANCER IS CRUEL  !

Port Implanted and First Chemo !

 Well, we went to Good Samaritan at 7AM Tuesday morning, met my surgery team while getting prepped for surgery and all went well,  Wheeled down to Operating Room in Radioliogy Department as Port is Placed under X Ray into Jugular Vein and a Main Artery to Heart.  Dr. Marshall was surgeon, and another  Dr there for Anesthesia and 5 Nurses.

My Iv Pole and all the Bags of Iron, and Chemicals they run thru my Heart to disperse thru my body to Kill the Cancer Cells in my Lungs, Hip, Liver and Spleen !

Lines hooked up to run Nuclear Chemicals Thru to attach them selves to the Cancer Cells !

Bandages being changed and being sent home to spend couple days in bed to recoup !

Go back in a week to have it checked and meet with Palative Care on Medications to ease the Cancer Pain as it Progresses if this proceedure does not put the Cancer in Remission !

Iron Transfusion

Well today finally got here so I could go to the Tom and Mable Walker Cancer Treatment Center in Watertown for my appointment for my Iron Infusion !   I been waiting for over a Month, I need this for the Cancer Treatments.

All done with my Injection,  Iron Injections are faster, safer and get to Red Blood Cells quickly !

This is the Chemo and Infusions Room,  There are 8 Chairs available and they are usually all full !  You can watch TV, Have your wife with you at a distance.  Have juice, soda but NO Coffee.

Finished my Treatment an when leaving ran into my Brother Jim, He was there for his Chemotherapy Treatment for his Cancers, Jim is 90 and in pretty good shape !

 Top is Oldest Brother John,  Brother Donnie, an Sister Janice who have all passed away !

Go in Monday for my Infusion Port.  It hurts to take a deep breath, my right side is sore,  My Lymph Nodes under my right ard are tender to the touch !  I have an Ice Pack on my right side for Hours trying to ease the Pain,,, Cancer is NOT Painless !!! .

Tuesday is my first Chemo, I am ready for it to begin,  Nervous as I want this to work !  My Bags may be packed for Heaven but I'm not ready to "Board The Bus Yet"!

Food and Staying Busy

Well, so far the Cancer has taken about 32 pounds away from me !  I need this weight to Fight back when I start my Chemo,  Those pounds are important they say from those I talk to !    I do have quite a bit of Pain in my side around my Liver !  Some times on the 1 -10 scale it goes way up to 8 or 9 !  I found a Heat source that I lay on my side and it helps !

. Carving up the Bird today for late lunch,   Thanksgiving Day our Meal was Venison Tenderloin which my Brother in law brought and cooked for us !

I have managed to reset up "Rock Tumblers" and have my first Batch Ground down and ready to fine grind.

Cancer Sucks

 Well I finished my 1st round of Radiation on the Cancer in my Leg an hip,  The steel Rod is finally settling in and I can walk a little with a Cane in my Right Hand.

.

December 4th I will have an Injection Port surgically implanted to start my Chemo Therapy on the Lungs and Liver and Spleen Cancers !

.

I am also going to a Pulmonologist for "Markers" on my Lungs for capacity that they track the progress or decrease hopefully of the Cancers !

Last Trip to Doctor We got to finally see my PET Scan !

My Cancer started the figure in the upper left Lung, spread to Trochanter Muscle in left Thigh  and spread to right lung, Spleen, Liver !

I start my Implant December 4th,  My First Treatment will be right after I have an Iron Infusion as my Iron is low !

I am anxious to get started to stop this  from spreading !

We had a Breakfast. above is me, My brother Roland who had Facial Cancer, My Brother Jim who turned 90 and he and I are both in Treatment for Cancer, same Doctors !

Update,

 Well, we are half way thru the Radiation on the Groin and Upper leg.  It really "Hurts" !!!  I can be sitting quietly in my chair and then "Wham", a shooting Pain will hit my inner Thigh and make me yell !    Scares my Honey but she is always right there for me.

.

I have a Doctor for my Surgery who put the steel rod in my leg, A Doctor who is in Charge of My Radiation, another Doctor who is in Charge of my Chemo Therapy which starts soon.    I have another Doctor who is in Charge of My Cardiology and then A Doctor for my Dentistry and another for my Eyes, and Another for my Feet and Finally my GP who I will see monthly !   I surely support the Medical Fiweld and am "Blessed" that I have these awesome Men and Women in my Life to take Care of me.

The Best One of allo the above is My "Honey" !! She gives me 24 X 7 Care which keeps me afloat and High and Dry !
